Gathering of personal Information: We do not acquire any more information about website visitors than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely. We may use customer contact information from the registration form to (1) send the user pertinent medical and parenting information and (2) allow your local health provider lists of who is registering on that provider's site as a parent/guardian, staff member, doctor, or visitor. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. We will not sell, rent or disclose your personal information to our business partners, suppliers, vendors or other third parties without notifying you of our intent to share the information and giving you an opportunity to prevent your information from being shared.

Gathering browser level information: We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Website. Links and third party sites: This site contains links to other sites. Remedy Connect is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Websites. We will provide individually-identifiable information about website users to third parties only if we are compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority, we have the express permission of the visitor, or it is necessary to process transactions and provide you services from our affiliates: Live Agent Answering Service , Digital Answering Service , Secure Messaging and Remedy Telehealth.

Privacy: When we make our technology or services available to business partners, we will not share with them any more consumer information than is necessary, and we will make every reasonable effort to assure, by contract or otherwise, that they use our technology and services in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. Children’s Online Privacy Policy:
In accordance with the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) Remedy Connect is committed to protecting the privacy of children related to the use of our sites and applications. This COPPA policy explains how Remedy Connect collects information, disclosure and parental consent practices for information provided by or about children under the age of 13.

The information we collect: our registration process allows for the entry of information about children by a parent or guardian as well as healthcare providers. That information is retained in compliance with applicable HIPAA law. Children cannot directly register with our sites and applications. During the user registration process, we may ask the parent or guardian of a child to provide certain information for notification and security purposes, including a parent or guardian’s email address, the child’s name and gender, the parent’s member or account username, and password. We also may ask for birth dates of children a parent or guardian have added to the application to validate their ages. Parents and guardians can choose whether to share information about their children with us, but certain actions cannot function without it. We will not require a parent or guardian to provide more information about a child than is reasonably necessary in order to participate in the function of the application.

How we use it: When adult users interact with us, certain information may automatically be collected, to make our application more useful for various purposes related to our business. Examples include the type of computer operating system, the user’s IP address or mobile device identifier, the web browser, the frequency with which a user visits various parts of our sites or applications, and information regarding the online or mobile service provider. This information is collected using technologies such as cookies and other unique identifiers. This data is principally used for internal purposes only, in order to:

  • provide access to features and activities on our application
  • customize content and improve our application
  • conduct research and analysis to address the performance of our application
  • generate anonymous reporting for use by Remedy Connect

What we will not do: Remedy Connect will have no direct contact with a minor child via email, text, instant messaging or other online platforms. All communications about a child will be conducted between the authorized parent or guardian and their healthcare provider that is delivering healthcare services via our Telehealth application. No personal information about a child will be made available to the public.

We may share information with our business associates if necessary to perform a business, professional or technology support function – always in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable laws.

Choice/opt out and corrections: To opt out of email communications from us or be removed as a user please email us at support@remedyconnect.com You may correct or update your User Registration information at any time, by visiting the User Registration section and providing your personal password that you set at registration.
